Het gaat niet buiten Hem om. Hij zal dat doen<\/span>
\n wat nodig is om Zijn plan door te voeren. Al die<\/span>
\n instrumenten, al die machthebbers; ze zijn in <\/span>
\n Zijn hand. Dat besef je niet altijd zo, maar het <\/span>
\n is een bijzondere zekerheid, die Hij geeft.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018Fijn, om daarover te lezen.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

Paulus zegt in Athene tegen zijn luisteraars:<\/span>
\n
\nHij wordt ook door mensenhanden niet gediend
\nalsof Hij iets nodig heeft, \u00a0omdat:
\nHij Zelf aan allen leven, adem en alles geeft;
\nen Hij maakte uit \u00e9\u00e9n elke natie van de mensheid,
\nom op heel de aardbodem te wonen;
\nen Hij heeft de hun toegemeten tijden bepaald,
\nen de grenzen van hun woongebied,
\n<\/em><\/span>Handelingen 17:25-26<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018Dat zegt heel veel.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

Het is weer een aanvulling op wat we al in de<\/span>
\n afgelopen weken (vanaf 20 mei) hebben gezien, <\/span>
\n dat God<\/em> alles in handen heeft en niets buiten <\/span>
\n Hem om gaat.<\/span>
\n Ja, Hij is het, die alles bewerkt in overeenstem-<\/span>
\n ming met de raad van Zijn wil. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0(Efezi\u00ebrs 1:11)<\/span>
\n We hebben geen onmachtige God, die moet af-<\/span>
\n wachten wat de mens doet en snel moet ingrij-<\/span>
\n pen. God is liefde en Hij werkt volgens Zijn vaste <\/span>
