\n<\/strong><\/span>\u2018Onze toekomst is zeker.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

Want in Gods hand. We zijn helemaal,<\/span>
\n te allen tijde, vast geborgen in Hem. <\/span>
\n Hij heeft ons in Christus <\/em>geplaatst, en <\/span>
\n dat gebeurde door de doop in die ene<\/span>
\n geest van God. Romeinen 6 zegt dat:<\/span><\/p>\n

Of weten jullie niet, dat wie gedoopt
\nzijn naarbinnen Christus Jezus, gedoopt
\nzijn naarbinnen Zijn dood?<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018Wacht even, dat is geen waterdoop?\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

Water wordt niet genoemd. De eerste<\/span>
\n brief aan de Corinthi\u00ebrs (12:13) zegt:<\/span><\/p>\n

want in \u00e9\u00e9n geest ook zijn wij allen ge-
\ndoopt naarbinnen \u00e9\u00e9n lichaam, hetzij
\nJoden of Grieken, hetzij slaven of vrijen,
\nen allen zijn wij met \u00e9\u00e9n geest gedrenkt<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Wij zijn door die ene geest gedoopt, en
\n<\/span>dan naarbinnen Christus Jezus. Als re-<\/span>
\n sultaat daarvan weet de gelovige zich <\/span>
\n altijd in Christus<\/em>. Zo ziet God, de Vader, <\/span>
\n ons altijd. Wat ook gebeurt, wij zijn in
\nChristus<\/em>. Wat een rijkdom is dat.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018Ik dank God daarvoor.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

Dat is altijd de houding van ons: dank-<\/span>
\n baarheid door de genade in ons hart<\/em>. <\/span>
\n Het is bijzonder, dat wij zo\u2019n positie in<\/span>
\n Christus hebben. Daar is niets van ons-<\/span>
\n zelf bij. Alles komt van onze hemelse <\/span>
\n Vader, die ons liefheeft. Zo dicht bij <\/span>
\n Zijn hart gekomen. Wat een voorrecht<\/span>
\n hebben wij ontvangen. Door Hem aan<\/span>
\n de top van alles gekomen, geestelijk<\/em>
