Die gezindheid<\/em>, die Hem kenmerkte, die zou <\/span>
\n ook in ons zijn. Dat is Filippenzen. Die brief <\/span>
\n laat ons zien wat het betekent om ootmoedig<\/em><\/span>
\n te dienen in het lichaam van Christus. Zelf<\/span>
\n leefde Hij dat voor toen Hij op aarde was.<\/span>
\n Aan het einde van Gods plan van eonen <\/span>
\n blijkt, dat Hij dat nog steeds is: ootmoedig<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018Hij is wel de Koning van de koningen.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

Zeker, Hij is Heer over alles en Heer van al-<\/span>
\n len. Geen twijfel mogelijk. Toch regeert Hij<\/span>
\n niet<\/em> \u2018in eeuwigheid\u2019 zoals zoveel opwekkings-<\/span>
\n liederen enthousiast zingen. Want Hij zal re-
\n<\/strong>geren totdat<\/em> Hij alle vijanden onder Zijn voe-<\/span>
\n ten heeft, naar Psalm 110:1<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018Huh? Psalm 110?\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

In de geweldige woorden van 1 Corinthi\u00ebrs <\/span>
\n 15:25, ja, daarin klinkt Psalm 110 door.
\nMet\u00a0<\/span>het verdere licht van wat de apostel te
\nont<\/span>hullen kreeg. Hij zal alle vijanden onder
\nZijn\u00a0<\/span>voeten plaatsen. Dan zullen alle vijanden
\n<\/em>on<\/span>derschikkend zijn aan Christus; dan zijn zij <\/span>
\n geen vijanden meer, maar verzoende vrien<\/span>den.
\nEn daarna\u00a0blijkt de ootmoedigheid van <\/span>Christus
\nJezus opnieuw, wanneer ook Hij on<\/span>derschik-
