Tijdens de bediening van Paulus ging<\/span>
\ndat er soms erg aan toe. Er werden <\/span>
\ndiverse moordaanslagen beraamd.<\/span>
\nOok een steniging (Lystra) overkwam<\/span>
\nhem. Hij schreef dan ook:<\/span><\/p>\n

allen die in Christus Jezus godvruchtig
\nwillen leven, zullen vervolgd worden
\n<\/i>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a02 Timothe\u00fcs 3:12<\/span><\/p>\n

Het gaat om in Christus Jezus <\/i>willen <\/span>
\nleven. De verheerlijkte Heer, daarop <\/span>
\ngericht leven. Verbonden met de he-<\/span>
\nmelse roeping.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018De waarheid voor vandaag.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

Daaruit willen leven heeft als gevolg:<\/span>
\nverwerping en vervolging. Omdat men<\/span>
\n(ook gelovigen) de waarheid voor nu<\/i><\/span>
\nniet wil accepteren, zal men degenen <\/span>
\ndie Paulus navolgen, weg willen wer-<\/span>
\nken en verdringen. Eerst zal men het <\/span>
\nevangelie proberen weg te duwen, en<\/span>
\ndaarna de verkondigers ervan. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018Dat zag je bij Paulus.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

Tegen de oudsten uit Efeze in Milete<\/span>
\nzei de apostel dat. Hij voelde al aan <\/span>
\ndat hij (in de toekomst) niet langer <\/span>
\nwelkom zou zijn in Asia. Eerst werd <\/span>
\nzijn evangelie\u00a0<\/i>verdrongen door men-<\/span>
\nsen uit hun eigen (Efeze) midden. La-<\/span>
