Kleineert\u00a0profeti\u00ebn\u00a0niet
<\/em>1 Thessalonicenzen 5:20<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De Schrift is een en al profetie. In
wezen is profetie niet in de eerste
plaats voorzeggen van toekomst.
Het is spreken van Gods woord.
In de begintijd van de roeping van
het lichaam van Christus (Paulus!)
was profetie <\/em>\u00e9\u00e9n van de bijzondere
gaven van de geest<\/em>. Na de begin-
tijd was deze gave niet meer nodig,
nu Gods woord gecompleteerd <\/em>
was door Paulus<\/em>.
De aanwijzing in onze dagtekst
wijst dan ook op Gods woord in
het algemeen en de profetische
brieven van de apostel van al de
nati\u00ebn in het bijzonder. Daarom
