Volgens de kerk is het vuur (de poel des vuurs in Openbaring 20 ,<br \/>\n21 en 22) beeldspraak. Uit het krantenartikel wordt niet duidelijk, of<br \/>\nde kerk leert, dat die hel eeuwig is. Kennelijk ziet men de dood als een<br \/>\nandere vorm van bewust voortbestaan, want er staat in Openbaring bij,<br \/>\ndat de poel des vuurs de tweede dood is. Maar: wat zou <em>God <\/em>nu bedoelen,<br \/>\nals Hij het woord <em>dood<\/em> gebruikt?
