Dit zijn logische vervolgstappen
in het leven van ons als gelovigen.
Er onder blijven (volharding) zoals
gisteren gezien: door Gods kracht.
Dat geeft in de loop van de tijd in
ons beproefdheid. God werkt dat
uit. En we hebben de verzekering,
dat Hij draagt in de beproevingen 
die iedere gelovige meemaakt. 
Hij zal met de beproeving ook de
uitkomst maken, zegt de apostel 
in 1 Corinthi\u00ebrs 10:13. 
Met de nadrukkelijke waarheid:
God is trouw<\/em>.
