Eerst klonk:<br>&#8230;<em>door de barmhartigheden van<br>God <\/em>&#8230;.. Nu zegt hij: &#8230;<em>door de<br>genade die aan mij gegeven is.<br><\/em>Dat wijst eerder terug op het<br>goede nieuws dat hij bracht dan<br>op zijn autoriteit als apostel.<br>Die volmacht gebruikte hij erg<br>terughoudend. Hij wilde liever<br>aandacht vestigen op de Heer<br>en Zijn werk dan op zichzelf. Zo<br>ligt het hier voor de hand, dat<br><em>de genade <\/em>het goede nieuws is.<br>De liefde van God, Die Zijn Zoon<br>zelfs tot in de dood overgaf voor<br>zondaren zou ons denken gaan<br>bepalen.
