Christus is onze Heer \u00e9n onze
Richter. Echter, de dreiging is
niet aanwezig, zoals die je uit
Tenach misschien wel bij de
titel \u2018Richter\u2019 zou denken.
Binnen het klimaat van goed
nieuws vanuit Zijn kruisiging
en opstanding is het anders.
Het gaat niet, zoals bij Isra\u00ebl,
om Degene Die met vuur en
rook op Sina\u00ef verscheen. Het
gaat nu om Hem, Die uit liefde
voor ons stierf en aan Gods
rechter(hand) is.
Want voor ons als gelovigen
wacht geen verontwaardiging
van God (Romeinen 5:9).
En veroordeling is onmogelijk
voor hen die in Christus Jezus
