‘Vandaag weer meer over de Thora?’<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

In Romeinen 3 blijkt, dat alle mensen (dus ook de Joden) zondaren zijn.
\nDat er niemand rechtvaardig is, ook niet \u00c3\u00a9\u00c3\u00a9n. Dat citeert Pualus uit de
\nPsalmen, dus het stond al in de Tenach, en dat honderden jaren! Dat was
\ndus geen ‘uitvinding’ van de apostel!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

‘Soms wordt dat wel gesuggereerd, dat Paulus als enige predikte dat alle
\nmensen gelijke zondaren zijn. Kenden de Joden in hun onderwijzingen
\nook zo’n lering?’<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Het blijkt, dat de Tenach al leerde, dat alle mensen zondaren zijn.
\nDe Joden kunnen gedacht hebben, dat de diverse teksten uit de Psalmen
\ndie Paulus aanhaalde, alleen over de heidenen spraken. Maar hij maakt
\nduidelijk, dat alle <\/em>mensen zondaren zijn, of ze nu wel of niet onder de
\nThora waren.
\nDe weg tot gerechtigheid bleek niet te liggen in het houden van de Thora,
\nwant niemand kon die volkomen houden. Daarom schrijft de apostel in
\nhoofdstuk 3:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

21\u00c2\u00a0Thans is echter buiten de\u00c2\u00a0Thora om<\/span> gerechtigheid Gods openbaar geworden,
\nwaarvan de\u00c2\u00a0Thora en de profeten getuigen,
\n22\u00c2\u00a0en wel gerechtigheid Gods door het geloof\u00c2\u00a0van Jezus Christus, voor allen,
\ndie geloven; want er is geen onderscheid.
\n23\u00c2\u00a0Want allen hebben gezondigd en derven de heerlijkheid Gods,
\n24\u00c2\u00a0en worden om niet gerechtvaardigd\u00c2\u00a0in zijn genade, door de vrijkoping in
\nChristus Jezus.
\n<\/strong><\/span><\/em>
\n‘<\/em>Prachtig evangelie, het is geweldig, dat het geloof van Jezus Christus centraal
\nstaat, en Zijn werk, dat voldoende is.’<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Ja, gerechtvaardigd om niet in Zijn genade, buiten de Thora om, geen eigen
