Dankbaar ben ik Hem, Die mij 
kracht geeft, Christus Jezus onze 
Heer, omdat Hij mij trouw acht, 
mij plaatsend tot in dienstwerk
           <\/em>1 Timothe\u00fcs 1:12<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dankbaarheid uitte de apostel
ook over het trouw achten <\/em>door
de Heer. Christus Jezus achtte
hem trouw en zette dienstwerk
op zijn weg. Niet zomaar wat,
maar: apostel<\/em> zijn. Christus is
Hoofd; dat is Zijn heerlijkheid.
Hij geeft gaven in de ekklesia
(uitgeroepen groep) die Zijn
lichaam is. Hij plaatst in Zijn
genade en door Zijn geest al
de leden op de juiste plek.
Wanneer iemand een andere
plek moet hebben, kan God
door de omstandigheden dat
leiden. Zo werd Paulus uit de
Galatische gemeentes gedrukt
door de opkomende traditie.
Eerst veranderde de boodschap
die gebracht werd. Gedachten
van gelovigen werden via ander
woordgebruik omgedraaid.
Uiteindelijk accepteerde men de
apostel ook niet langer.
Zo verschoof de regio waarin hij
kon werken en wel welkom was.
