maar ingeval ik vertraagd ben, 
schrijf ik; opdat jij weet hoe 
iemand zich moet gedragen 
in het huis van God, dat is de 
uitgeroepen gemeente van de 
levende God, zuil en grondslag 
van de waarheid
<\/em>          1 Timothe\u00fcs 3:15<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Het huis van God was ooit de
tabernakel, de tempel in Isra\u00ebl.
Nu is dat het lichaam van de
Christus. God geeft Zijn geest in
gelovigen; gezamenlijk vormen
die nu Zijn huis. Het gedrag
zou de nieuwe mens laten
zien, die wandelt in liefde en
genade. Ook in dit huis zou
de waarheid van God zijn. Zo
ging en gaat dat ook bij Isra\u00ebl.
Het lichaam van Christus zou
zijn: zuil en grondslag van de
waarheid. Het evangelie zoals
Paulus dat brengt, is waar en
geldt vandaag. De levende
God spreekt door Zijn levende
woord in en door het lichaam
van Christus. Dat is kostbaar
en zouden wij koesteren.
