Paulus roept de gelovigen van
het lichaam van Christus op
om hem na te volgen.
Hij volgde zelf Christus Jezus
na, en volhardde, ook in het
lijden en de verdrukkingen.
Timothe\u00fcs had Paulus niet
alleen horen spreken, maar
zag ook hoe de apostel van
de nati\u00ebn dagelijks leefde.
En dat maakte grote indruk
op de leerling.
Timothe\u00fcs volgde de apostel
Paulus na. Niet even, maar
in lange tijd, door alles heen,
zou je kunnen zeggen. En
de dankbare constatering
