We hebben heel de Schrift in
bezit; en die is nodig om ons
toe te rusten. Het is te weinig
voor de erkenning van God
en Zijn Christus als we alleen
de brieven van Paulus lezen.
Wanneer we echter alleen
de rest van de Schrift lezen,
zal ons ontgaan wie wij in
Christus zijn en wat de plaats
van Zijn lichaam in Gods plan
is. Christus stopte niet met
spreken toen Hij naar Zijn
Vader was opgevaren.
Hij sprak tot Johannes over
de toekomst voor Isra\u00ebl in
Openbaring. Hij sprak via
Paulus over overstromende
genade: de toekomstige
heerlijkheid van Zijn lichaam,
voor ons.
