De grote gerichten (meestal
als \u2018oordelen\u2019 vertaald) zijn in
de Schrift opgetekend.
Eerste was de neerwerping
van de wereld <\/em>(Ef.1:4), gevolg
ervan zien wij in Genesis 1:2;
ook in 2 Petrus 3:5 bedoeld.
Tweede was de grote vloed
in de dagen van Noach, lees
Genesis 7, 8 en 2 Petrus 2:5.
Derde: Gods verontwaardiging,
meestal als \u2018de dag des toorns\u2019
gekend, Openb.4-19; Matt.24
en 2 Thess.1:7-10.
Het vierde zagen we gisteren
al; de grote witte troon, in
Openb.20:11-15 genoemd, zie
ook Romeinen 2:16.
Het belangrijkste gericht was
over de zonde, op Golgotha
waar Christus tot zonde\/zond-
offer werd gemaakt, 2Kor.5:21.
Laten wij God, onze Vader,
danken dat dit geweest is!
