Opstanding<\/em> is fundamenteel
in Gods plan; zonder dat kon
Paulus niet zeggen: de doden<\/em>
in onze dagtekst. De Heer zal
ook de doden<\/em> gaan richten,
en daartoe moeten zij eerst
opstaan.
Hymene\u00fcs, Filetus ontkenden
de toekomstige opstanding
zelfs. In Korinthe sprak men
n\u00f3g dwazer; zij loochenden
de opstanding helemaal
(1 Korinthe 15:12,13).
Om de opstanding van doden
en de verwachting van Isra\u00ebl
was Paulus gevangen gezet
(Handelingen 23:6; 24:21).
En in de toekomst voor Isra\u00ebl
zal, na de grote verdrukking,
75 dagen precies, weer een
opstanding zijn. Die van de
rechtvaardigen (Lukas 14:14;
Hand.24:15; Dani\u00ebl 12:12,13).
Ook in Openbaring 20:4-6 is
deze opstanding aan de orde.
De Heer staat op het punt
<\/em>de levenden en de doden te
richten, een feit. Wij leven
in de heerlijke verwachting
van Zijn aanwezigheid in de
