In ons dringt de<br>liefde van Christus sterk aan<br>tegen schadelijke begeerten<br>van de oude mensheid. De<br>liefde van Christus stroomt<br>naar ons toe vanuit het<br>woord van het kruis. Dat is<br>kracht van God tot redding<br>van de tirannie van de zonde<br>en de oude mens.<br>Wij zouden meer en meer<br>de liefde van Christus, zoals<br>Hij die liet zien op Golgotha,<br>biddend overwegen.<br>Dat raakt onze eigen, kleine<br>zelfgerichte wereldjes, en het<br>raakt ons hard. Hoe meer wij<br>dit overwegen, hoe groter de<br>impact.
