Het al is echter uit God, Die 
ons met Zichzelf verzoend 
heeft door Christus, en ons de 
dienst gegeven heeft van de 
verzoening
<\/em>          2 Korinthi\u00ebrs 5:18a<\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dit is de dienst voor deze tijd
van genade. Verzoening leven
en spreken. Paulus deed dat
ook naar de Korinthi\u00ebrs toe.\u00a0
De mens kan zichzelf echter\u00a0
niet met God verzoenen; dat
is het werk van God.\u00a0
Destijds ging het initiatief van
God uit; Hij stuurde Zijn Zoon
naar Zijn vijanden. Niet om de
vijanden uit te schakelen; dat\u00a0
had Hij kunnen doen door ze
letterlijk ademloos te maken.
Christus Jezus was en is Mens
zoals die door God bedoeld is.
De liefde van God was motief
in Christus Jezus\u2019 afdaling naar
de mensheid. Die liefde was
ook de beweegreden voor de
ootmoedigheid waarin Hij de
weg via het kruis ging. Dieper
gaan kon niet; het was ultiem
en God kon zo de wereld tot\u00a0
