Derhalve zijn wij vertroost,
maar in onze vertroosting 
<\/sup>verheugen wij ons veeleer 
overvloeiender in de vreugde 
van Titus, omdat zijn geest 
rust gekregen  <\/sup>heeft van 
jullie allen.
    <\/em>2 Korinthi\u00ebrs 7:13<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Het\u00a0aanspreken<\/em>\u00a0is hier, in de
tweede brief aan hen, zeer
troostrijk. In de eerste was
veel\u00a0aanspreken\u00a0<\/em>te lezen;
vooral ernstig aansporend
en zelfs vermanend.
Het had gewerkt; daarom
is er veel bemoediging.\u00a0
In deze brief is\u00a0verzoening<\/em>
(2Kor.5:14-21) centraal en\u00a0
dat is optimale vertroosting.
God, in Christus, verzoende
de wereld zelfs tot Zich!\u00a0
En zo was de toonzetting in
deze brief vanaf het begin\u00a0
(2Kor.1:1-11)\u00a0vertroostend<\/em>.
God van alle vertroosting,\u00a0
Vader van het mededogen,
in U verheugen wij ons!\u00a0
