Paulus had geroemd over de
Korinthi\u00ebrs; het was een van
de grote gemeentes. In de\u00a0
dagen dat Paulus daar was,
werkte hij intensief 1,5 jaar,\u00a0
want de Heer had \u2018veel volk\u2019
in die stad. De rijkdom van en
in Christus was onder hen in
genade bekendgemaakt.
Er was ook groei in geloof\u00a0
gekomen, maar zeker niet bij
allen. Toch had hij positief\u00a0
over hen gesproken, in zijn\u00a0
contact met Titus.\u00a0
Het\u00a0roemen<\/em>; Paulus gebruikt\u00a0
dat woord regelmatig in zijn\u00a0
brieven aan hen. Zij roemden
vooral in en over mensen; de
apostel roemde\u00a0in Christus\u00a0
Jezus<\/em>\u00a0en al wat Hij in Zijn\u00a0
liefde deed en doet.\u00a0
