Heer Jezus, Die gezegend is

dat ik niet lieg.

De God en Vader van onze
Heer Jezus. De Heer was het,
Die de Vaders wil deed tot
het uiterste. Alle woorden die
Hij sprak waren van de Vader;
al wat Hij deed, deed Hij om
Zijn Vader te behagen. Dat is
in ootmoed wandelen; laat
die gezindheid ook in ons zijn.
Paulus wandelde ootmoedig;
hij was zich diep bewust van
de grote genade, die God in
zijn leven gebracht had. Dat
gaf hem ook de kracht om de
genade van het apostel zijn
te volbrengen. Het lijden; in
alles bleef hij in ootmoed de
Vader dienen. Daarom sprak
hij de waarheid tot gelovigen
in Korinthe en tot ons.
