aanwezig zijnd, strengheid
gebruik in overeenstemming
met de volmacht die de Heer
mij geeft tot opbouw en niet
tot afbreking.

In 1 Korinthi\u00ebrs 10 schreef de
apostel, dat alles geoorloofd
is. Hij voegde er wel aan toe,
dat niet alles nuttig is, of tot
opbouw is. Nu zien wij in de
dagtekst, dat de leidraad te
allen tijde de opbouw van
het lichaam van Christus is.
Al de aanwijzingen die wij in
de brieven lezen, houden er
verband mee. Zijn lichaam
zou tot eer van Hem zijn.
In 1 Thessalonicenzen 5 zien
wij een aantal staan:

Houdt vrede onder jullie zelf
vermaant de ongeregelden,
troost de kleinmoedigen,
komt op voor de zwakken,
weest geduldig met allen<\/em>.
