Brandoffers en die aangaande

Toen zei Ik:

geschreven over Mij – Om te

Opvallend: in de hoofdsom

Citaat uit Psalm 40:8 is dit;
het is zeer regelmatig alleen
met ‘boekrol’ in vertalingen
weergegeven.
Woordelijk vanuit Hebreeuws
is het: de rol van het boek
(het geschrevene). Engelse
CV heeft: the roll of the scroll.
De Griekse weergave heeft:
in de culminering van de
boekrol. Culminering is wat
letterlijker ‘opwaarts-hoofden’.
Ook ‘samenvatting’ klinkt als
vertaling.
Waar het in Tenach om draait
is de Heer Jezus Christus,
Die Zichzelf totaal gegeven
heeft én geeft in Zijn dienst
aan Zijn God en Vader. HIJ,
onze Heer, is de Hoofdsom
van de boekrol (Tenach).
Hij kwam als Mens om de
wil van God te doen.
Het allerbelangrijkste was
dat; alleen zo werd werkelijk
de weg tot God geopend, die
tot dan toe de hogepriester
eens per jaar kon gaan.
God geve, dat het ook ons
diepe verlangen is Gods wil
te doen om Hem te eren.
