In Tenach<br>is <em>de levende God<\/em> in contrast<br>met de afgoden. Paulus zegt<br>dat ook in 1Thes.1:9,10.<br>De God van Isra\u00ebl is de enige<br>ware God. Hij overziet vanaf<br>het begin het einde. Al Zijn<br>beloften aan Abraham, Iza\u00e4k<br>en Jakob z\u00e1l Hij waarmaken.<br>Hij zal recht doen, Zijn Messias<br>Jezus Christus zal op de juiste<br>tijd ingrijpen en Zijn volk ver-<br>lossen. Recht doen uit liefde<br>houdt in: de wetteloosheden<br>van Jakob zal Hij wegdoen.<br>De aanbidders van het beest<br>en diens beeld zullen geen<br>deel hebben in het eonische<br>koninkrijk van Christus op de<br>aarde. Zij worden gericht bij<br>de grote witte troon en daar<br>blijkt dat hun namen uit de<br>boekrol van het leven gewist<br>zijn.
