Dit is de derde keer dat het
vers Habakuk 2:4 geciteerd
wordt; de andere twee zijn
Romeinen 1:17, Galaten 3:11.
Onder de wet, Habakuk was
dat, gold toch geloof<\/em> als de
reddende \u2018factor\u2019. Hij, die
geloofde<\/em> was rechtvaardig!
Dat gold ook v\u00f3\u00f3r de wet;
zie Hebree\u00ebn 11, o.a. Abel,
Abram, Noach. Onder de
wet dus ook; en nu de wet
voleindigd is in Christus
(Rom.10:4); voor ieder die
gelooft<\/em>.De Rechtvaardige
de Heer Jezus Christus<\/em>. Zijn
werk is doorslaggevend; in
genade weten wij ons ook
rechtvaardig verklaard.
Christus leefde uit geloof<\/em>;
zo ook wij. En dat is het
principe dat met genade<\/em>
overeenstemt.
