‘Zo, ik ben er nog wel stil van.’<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Waarvan?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

‘Van het toch zo diepgaande verschil tussen de beide evangeli\u00c3\u00abn.’<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Paulus schrijft over de nieuwe schepping, die pas na het kruis echt gestalte
\nkon krijgen in de Eersteling van die nieuwe schepping, onze Heer, die als
\nde Opgestane het Hoofd van de nieuwe mensheid is. Hij is de Heer die uit
\nde hemel neergedaald is en als de laatste Adam de mensheid zal voeren
\nnaar het hart van God, in onderschikking.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

“Nou het is zeker beter, te bedenken de dingen die boven zijn, waar
\nChristus is, gezeten aan de rechterhand van God.’<\/span><\/p>\n

D\u00c3\u00a1\u00c3\u00a1r is ons leven verborgen met Hem, in God. Betere plaats is er niet.
\nDat nieuwe leven wat Hij ons gaf, is samen met Christus verborgen in
\nGod. Dat nieuwe leven is het leven dat Christus nu zelf heeft en dat le-
\nven kan niet zondigen! Het gaat om een nieuwe schepping in Hem.
\nDie boodschap kon de apostel bij de Corinthi\u00c3\u00abrs niet kwijt. Zij hadden
\nnog melk nodig en waren nog niet toe aan de vaste spijs, het vaste voed-
\nsel (honing). Dat werd pas later in de latere brieven onthuld.<\/span><\/p>\n

‘Er is kennelijk nog niet veel veranderd in de christenheid.’<\/strong><\/strong><\/span>
\n
\nAls je kijkt in de christenheid vandaag, dan vertoont die karaktertrekken
\nvan Corinthi\u00c3\u00abrs, niet die van Efezi\u00c3\u00abrs-Filippenzen-Kolossenzen. Maar ja,
\nde boodschap klinkt vandaag, hoewel niet overal, maar toch. Laten wij
\nons verheugen in die genade, die Hij schenkt. En dat is geweldig rijk en
\ngeweldig veel. Laten wij deze schatten koesteren en doorgeven!
